Our company in the name of Erode Gas Agencies was started under Unemployment Graduate and Diploma – holders Scheme, on 31.01.1972 with Sri. N.Nachimuthu as its sole proprietor. The credit of being the first and senior most Distributors for Indane in and around Erode Town goes to our company. Our company feels proud of the same. To begin with, we enrolled 72 customers with our Gas Agencies.

There was a Remarkable improvement in the enrolment of customers touching 3000 during 1981. This figure rose to a total of about 12000 during 1988. Since 1990, M.P. Quota Facility was available with our firm leading to Improved Customer Strength. Since 2000, gas connections were provided to all needy people without imposing restrictions/ conditions.

The Co-operative Central Bank, Erode has Extended 100% loan facility to poor people applying for gas connections. In continuation of this, our company also has extended the loan facility without interest. This loan facility is a boon to several customers of this locality who fall below middle class category and below poverty line. We also supply 5 Kg cylinders to needy people in rural and urban areas of Erode. We have 12000 Kg Capacity of godown, 15 Delivery boys, 3 Drivers and 3 Cleaners, 2 LCVs and a Lorry and 13 numbers of Autos In October 2003, our firm was converted into a partnership firm with Sri. N.Nachimuthu and Mr. S.N.Thangaraju as partners.

In the year 2004, with the benevolent aid of SBI, Erode, about 3200 connections were made available for Self – Help Ladies' Group. As on date our firm has a total of 16000+ customers. From the year of inception, we have been supplying refills to hotels and industries. But subsequently, the IOCL adopted the policy of one distributor marketing in respect of Non – Domestic cylinders. Hence we surrendered the Non – Domestic cylinders to the to another LPG distributor. Further we supply about 2500 cylinders / month to the students' hostel and Laboratories and Industries.

Our future plan is to extend this facility to the poor students of the neighboring districts also. We have also provided Gas – Connection installations free of cost to the following schools of this area. i. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Veerappan Chatram Govt., Erode. ii. Arulneri Thirupani Mandaram Higher Secondary School. iii. Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School for both lab and mid-day meal section kitchen. Erode iv. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ganapathypalayam v. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Alampalayam. The installation expenses met to our company in respect of the above schools amounted to Rs. 2 Lakhs Ours has been the first firm in the entire country to introduce SMS facility to book refills. IVRS facility is also available with us.
